Welcome to Animal Chiropractic
Why does my dog need chiropractic?

Traumatic scenarios and stressful situations present themselves daily to both companion and performance dogs. Collars, confinement, sustained vigorous activity and also lack of exercise can all cause misalignments along the spine.

How can chiropractic help my cat?

I have seen small animals experience some of the same difficulties as dogs do. Most of the reasons for misalignments in dogs can also apply to cats as well. Cats can also display difficulties such as strange behavior, running around wildly, and biting at their
back and feet.

What specifically can cause misalignments?

Age -
The older the animal gets the more need for chiropractic adjustments due to the degenerating spine and compensations over time.
Birth - Affects the growing tissues of the skull, spine, and extremities.
Confinement - Crating and lack of mobility can create tight joints.
Conformation traits - An example would be long backs.
Equipment - Poor fitting harness, collars, and leashes.
Handling - Lack of experience or even a bad experience with another person.
Surgery - Post-surgical therapy to assist healing and realignment.
Travel - Extended and multiple rides or even a car accident.
Trauma - Slips, falls, and missteps.

If your pet does not seem itself then a chiropractic evaluation and adjustment may be just what the doctor ordered!

Whether you're getting ready for a show or your pet
just stays at home, chiropractic care can help.
